There are many definitions of Yoga, but traditionally speaking it is a Hindu spiritual and ascetic discipline, a part of which, including breath control, simple meditation, and the adoption of specific bodily postures, is widely practiced for health and relaxation.

There are many physical benefits of Yoga some of which include:

increased flexibility, increased muscle strength and tone, improved respiration, energy and vitality, balanced metabolism, cardio and circulatory health, protection from injury - to name a few.

Other benefits of Yoga encompass the Holistic body, mind and spirit as a whole. Creating balance physically and mentally. Helping the practitioner to become more aware of the Self and the world around them.
